- This 20-minute presentation educates the audience on the Treatment, Prevention, Awareness of Kidney Disease. It’s a great opportunity for friends, family, colleagues, churches, community centers, schools, and more to take charge of their health!
- The NKF Carolinas team can present a Your Kidneys and You Program and partner with one of our local nephrologists to explain the basics of kidney health and kidney disease.

NKF/UNC Kidney Health Mobile Screening Program
- Are you a community group? Do you have an upcoming health event in your area? Reach out to us to have a mobile screening unit at your next event. We are currently testing ACR and targeting high-risk populations. Please let us know as soon as you have your date as we book quickly!

The Cooking Doc
Dr. Shusterman is a board-certified nephrologist at Carolina Nephrology in Greenville SC. He sees patients at all of the hospitals in the upstate and has office hours in Simpsonville, Easley and downtown Greenville. He is also the medical director at the home dialysis clinic in Easley and the Travelers Rest in-center hemodialysis unit. Dr. Shusterman has a passion for cooking and healthy eating and hosts his own internet cooking show. On his show, called “The Cooking Doc,” he creates and shares recipes that are healthy for your kidneys and delicious to eat.
